Create Explosively Viral Book Giveaways and Book Launches with UpViral!
I've been considering using a program that makes book giveaways explosive, a way to gather thousands of emails from fans of my genre. So far, the results using rafflecopter are lackluster.
Compared to rafflecopter, UpViral is insane. I'll be using this stuff for the next year, collecting thousands of fan emails, and giving them books to read.
The other thing I learned about this software, I can put it on any site or domain. That means I can use it for any pen names I create, for my blog, my website, and integrate it into my Facebook page, and Facebook or Twitter advertising. Its fucking awesome.
Authors out there looking for a way to use giveaways to get emails -- this is it.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like the wave of the future. Unfortunately, I only have one book. I need to write the next two in the series right away, like in yesterday. Then I would have books to give away. I'll check it out.

ReplyDeleteHow does this system comply with CAN-SPAM laws? Does it integrate with Mailchimp?
ReplyDeleteDonna H, Upviral integrates with all major autoresponders, including Mailchimp. It even integrates with Sendy. I created my own mailserver using Sendy, and there are virtually no other kinds of giveaway software and lead software that integrate with Sendy, so this was a huge PLUS for me.

I use Upviral to feed leads directly into Sendy, and my sharing-referral trigger emails that I designed from Upviral and Sendy are all can-spam compliant.
Basically, Upviral gets them into the system, and then rewards them for referrals and sharing with instant offers.
It also does contests where people can win something instantly when they meet the contest requirements.
Its one hell of a tool.
The product creator, Wilco, also has a product called connectleads. Connect leads will tie into a Facebook lead campaign and funnel one-click traffic from Facebook lead campaigns into an Upviral loop. There is nothing like connectleads that takes a one-click giveaway entry on Facebook and flips them into a viral sharing-referrals loop.
The two products are made to work in tandem, both designed and supported by Wilco.
